SENSATIONAL! Liverpool Look To Seal A Shock Deal For This Manchester United Superstar

Recent reports are suggesting that Columbian international Radamel Falcao’s agent is at present in talks with Premier League side Liverpool. The superstar striker is at present on loan Manchester United till the end of the current campaign.

The 29 year old moved from Ligue 1 outfit Monaco to Old Trafford last summer and has failed to make any major impact to earn a permanent deal. Manager Louis van Gaal barely plays the forward and would not be interested in spending a huge sum of £43m to sign him on a permanent basis.

Reports in Spain further state that the Dutchman has told Monaco that the striker will be returning back to France, once the current season is over. Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes is however looking to set up a deal which would see him make the move to Anfield, before the start of the next season. Since his move to the Premier League, the former Atletico Madrid superstar has made 22 appearances for the Red Devils and has managed to score just four times.

3 players who could replace Falcao at Manchester United

Manchester United seem to have had it with Radamel Falcao, the fall from grace for the former hitman has been nothing short of extraordinary and a little saddening. It may have gone horribly wrong for the on-loan striker at United but at least he is making the big bucks. The problem could be that he returned a little bit too early from his ACL injury, he wanted to join the Colombian team at the World Cup and maybe, just maybe he should have taken a few more months off to recover completely before he decided to start playing competitive football again.

United may not sign the striker on a permanent basis at the end of this season and this would mean that they still need a striker or maybe even two strikers to fill in the gulf and we look at 3 strikers who they should sign to fix all their goal scoring problems.

Alexandre Lacazette

The star of the Lyon team this season, Lacazette has been on fire once again and has scored 27 goals in 32 games for the team. Lacazette is exceptionally gifted as a striker and has the pace and finishing to score bucket loads of goals.

He will be available on a free at the end of the season and United could very well be making a move for the French striker, he might prefer to play in another club but as seen with Di Maria and Falcao at the start of the season, it is all about the money and while United do not have to pay a huge amount to sign him, they would have to fill his coffers to ensure he comes to United.

Robert Lewandowski

The Polish striker might cost a whole lot more than Lacazette since he only joined Bayern Munich at the start of this season but United have the big bucks to spend on players they need and they won’t get a more clinical striker than Lewandowski.

He might not be playing his best football at the moment but Pep Guardiola does have a history of bust-ups with strikers and this could be just another such phase from the manager. Lewandowski might not have the pace that is required from top strikers but his finishing and movement make up for that and United could very well be planning this swoop to blow off another transfer season.

Edinson Cavani

Cavani is one of the best finishers in the game and he is physically very strong too. Cavani needs a run of games to do well and while that has not always happened at PSG, with him playing more on the wings than as a striker, Manchester United could provide him that route to help him score more goals, at least more goals than he has done for PSG this season. Signing him from PSG would be a problem though as United would have to spend a huge amount but we are sure they have that much with them.

“If A Player Cost £95m or £5,000 It’s Not Any Different For Me.” Manchester United Manager Warns Striker

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has stated that there shall be no transfers in the current January transfer window. The Red Devils who have been linked with a long list of big names this season will not be making any further additions, according to the what the Dutch manager has said recently. Despite that, the United manager has also urged Colombian striker Radamel Falcao to step up and prove himself, not just to his fans, but to his critics as well.

Van Gaal expressed a definite desire to play in the Champions League next season, but dismissed any more purchases with regards to those ambitions. The 28 year old, Falcao has struggled for fitness and form since move to Old Trafford on deadline-day switch from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, scoring a tally of just three goals in his 13 appearances. Van Gaal who had dropped the superstar striker ahead of their home defeat to Southampton had prompted his agent Jorge Mendes to claim that the Colombian sensation could be part of any big club in the world and that a lot of big European giants were still keen on his signature. The Dutchman responded with a simple comment and said,

“He has to prove himself. We have made a deal and everything is clear. It’s not the end of the year so he has a chance.”

“If a player cost £95m or £5,000 it’s not any different for me. You have to prove yourself.”

United do have the option of signing Falcao, on a permanent basis, if they wish to, for a reported £43m. Again Van Gaal lashed out at those comments by adding that the player’s value counted for nothing, if he could not perform, as in Falcao’s case.

“Yes, he was here.” Van Gaal Denies Rift With Manchester United Superstar

Premier League giants Manchester Untied suffered a shocking 1-0 loss to Southampton at home on Sunday. It was the first win for the visitors at Old Trafford after 17 long years and Louis van Gaal’s side was quite disappointing in the Southampton half and lacked quality going ahead. The loss exposed plenty of weaknesses within the United side, especially with regards to the attacking play and finishing. One man who became a mere spectator to this disappointing performance was Columbian star striker Radamel Falcao. The 28 year old who is currently at United on loan from AS Monaco, had finally started to find his feet at the Premier League club, yet, was benched in the fixture. Now the Dutch manager has denied that the unhappy striker stormed out yesterday after the match.

The Colombian superstar striker did not make an appearance for Manchester United in their game against “The Saints”. After the game, reports suggest that Falcao was not seen in the Director’s box with his team-mates, yet Van Gaal claimed it was not true and said, “Yes, he was here.” The Dutch manager further said this about United’s performance, “It is a bad result. We have to be better. We were the dominating team but you have to create more chances when you are the dominating team. We didn’t choose the right solutions in the third and fourth phase.”

United who were at third place, at the start of the game, fell to fourth, two points behind Southampton. Manager Van Gaal will need to change things around, if he wishes to retain the Champions League spot as competition this year is quite stiff for that final spot. One way of going about it could be adding reinforcements in the January transfer window as the manager has already suggested previously. What happens next needs to be seen, as only time will tell.

Done Deal: Manchester United Complete Mega Transfer

If reports from English Media Outlet METRO is to be believed, then manchester United have agreed to sign Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal. The price has been mentioned at £43m as the Colombian is set to earn a massive £250,000-a-week plus extensive bonuses at Old Trafford.

Falcao has shows signs of dazzling brilliance but is yet to score for the Red Devils. The recent developments clearly show how desperate United are to eke out a permanent move, hoping to avoid yet another Carlos Tevez-esque situation. Falcao will turn 29 next February but United are believed to have faith in him. With Robin Van Persie clearly lacking his sharpness and having his best years behind him, the Red Devils now possibly want to hand Rooney and Falcao the attacking mantle for at least the coming couple of seasons.

It means that Louis Van Gaal clearly sees the 28-year-old as a huge part of his future plans and wants to complete the signing on a permanent deal before other clubs go all out next summer. Falcao though hasn’t been at his best for Nouveau Riche French side Monaco but the Red Devils would be hoping he can replicate the form he showed at Porto at Atletico Madrid, which has made him such a dangerous striker.

Monaco defender Ricardo Carvalho however believes that United will soon relaize Falcao’s goal scoring potential. Carvalho claims, “He doesn’t need too much time. He’s a striker that smells the goal and is dangerous in the box. Always when he gets the opportunity to score, he will score. The Premier League is a tough league to play in, but I think he’ll do well and score there. He has that thing with him when he gets a half chance he will score. He’s a great striker and a great professional.”

The former Chelsea man also said that Falcao was intent on leaving Monaco ever since he started to hear of interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United in the summer.

Done Deal: Manchester United Agree Loan Deal For Super star, Not €65m Permanent Deal

Manchester United have pulled of one of the most inspiring business on transfer deadline day as the Red Devils ave agreed to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao on a loan deal. Spanish media outlet AS however reports that the figure agreed is a €65m deal and the 28 year old will sign a four year contract earning a massive €9m per season.

Reliable Spanish Journalist Guilem Ballague tweeted the news from his Twitter handle as fans went beserk in the early hours of the transfer deadline day. Balague feels that Vna Gaal thinks that Robin Van Persie will struggle with his injuries and has thus decided to bring in a more than ideal replacement.

However there are a lot of uncertainties over the deal on whether its a permanent transfer or a loan deal. Some reports however have flooded Twitter saying the deal is permanent but due to Financial Fair Play Regulations, the first year will be on a loan deal.

United however sold Mexican striker Javier Hernandez on a one year lon deal to Champions League winner Real Madrid and the Galacticos have an option to buy for €20m at the end of the season.
