Chiek Tiote rescued Newcastle in a 4-4 draw that shocked title hopefuls Arsenal, who were 3-0 ahead inside 10 minutes. Tiote smashed a strike from the edge of the box into the bottom corner, after Arsenal failed to clear a free-kick, with 3 minutes of normal time left. The Ivorian capped off a truly amazing comeback by Newcastle.

Although Sunderland were defeated 3-2 at Stoke, Asamoah Gyan fired a great shot to edge Sunderland ahead in the second half. There were no excuses as the visitors twice gave leads away having dominated the game, and seeing the linesmen fail to flag offside for the first equaliser.

West Ham boss Avram Grant will wait until the end of the season before deciding to sign Nigerian Victor Obinna on a permanent deal. After scoring a hat-trick against Nottingham Forrest, he is performing well for Grant. As West Ham are battling relegation they will not be making a decision on his future yet. Obinna, 23, joined The Hammers on a season-long loan from Inter Milan at the start of the campaign.
