David Moyes is looking to stamp his authority on Manchester United in the early stages of his tenure and former Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas looks to be part of his plans to do that. The Barcelona man has had a mixed bag since he joined the Nou Camp in 2011 and Gunners across the globe have been watering at the mouth at the whispers linking the Spain international with a return to north London.
However, the Express say that United are ready to put a serious offer on the table of the Barcelona board to secure his services. If the move were to come of it would be another punch to the gut to the Emirates outfit after United snatched Robin van Persie from them last summer.
The Gunners have fallen from grace in the past few years and everywhere you go there seems to be another group of fans moaning about something. Wenger out, Wenger in, chairman out, Walcott is a striker, #tiersforpiers, etc.
Manchester United, however, are looking to retain their Premier League title as they prepare for life after Sir Alex Ferguson and with Paul Scholes retiring they are short of real quality in the middle of the squad.
