4 Players Who I Think Arsenal Should Have Kept Hold Of

Looking back in time, there are plenty of players you can pick out for most clubs and say that they should’ve kept hold of them. Here are four that I feel Arsenal should have kept hold of over the last few years.

1) Cesc Fabregas

The Spaniard is a world class player and is playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world – Barcelona. Now with a wealth of trophies under his belt and a armour of well-tuned attributes his price tag is probably through the roof, and would be ideal to link the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta to Olivier Giroud.

2) Alex Song

Although Arsenal’s midfield is packed with quality, Song is a fine, fine player and would add a lot to Arsene Wenger’s squad. He is a player of efficiency – his tackling, his passing and his heading are all next to perfect.

3) Robin van Persie

It seems obvious now, doesn’t it? Last year’s Premier League top scorer and he has since come back to bite them, most noticeably at the weekend when it was the Dutchman’s header that saw United take the points. His celebration suggested that he is glad to be away from the capital, however.

4) Emmanuel Adebayor

Another man who won’t be the most popular choice is Adebayor, although if the Gunners hadn’t let him go then things would have been much different. He was once a brilliant player for the north London side.
