THREE Manchester United Players Who Should Be Dropped After Tottenham Defeat

Manchester United now sit eight points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal after falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Tottenham, their third loss at Old Trafford this season. It was an uninspiring performance in every aspect, but there were a few players who stood out more than others. Here are three players who I think deserve to lose their place after today’s display.

1) Patrice Evra

The France international had a troublesome time playing against Aaron Lennon. The little winger had the speed over Evra and the full-back could not handle his tricks, movement and desire to get the better of him.

Evra was also sloppy going forward. He misplaced all four of his crosses, lost the only tackle he went in for and was beaten by Etienne Capoue in the one take on he attempted.

2) Adnan Januzaj

The young winger looks tired right now and as a result is becoming ineffective. Januzaj had three shots at goal, none of which hit the target, tried seven crosses, five of which were wayward, and he completed just 66% of his passes.

3) Jonny Evans

Evans has been growing in confidence of late but today was one of the worst displays I have seen from him this season. The centre-back was pulled over to the left to help Evra at the back but struggled to cope with the force of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado.
