No Willian? How Chelsea Should Line Up Against West Brom Tonight

Chelsea have the chance to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League table this evening as Jose Mourinho takes his team to West Brom. The Blues are currently a point ahead Arsenal and two above Manchester City, but they both play tomorrow evening so the west London side could be sitting on a nice cushion by then.

West Brom will be desperate to please their home fans though, so it won’t be an easy game. So how should the Blues line up against the Baggies?

The back five picks itself, I think, though John Terry is injured. So that’s Cech, Ivanovic on the right, Cahill and Luiz in the middle and Cesar Azpilicueta on the left.

Moving into midfield I would stick Ramires in one pivot and Matic in the other, or perhaps rest the latter for John Obi Mikel or Lampard if he needs to recharge his batteries. The former two have a nice balance about them.

With the form Hazard is  in right now he is obviously my first man in the team, so he takes the left wing spot, and I’d stick Oscar on the right.

In the free role behind I would opt for Andre Schurrle as he has the pace and the movement, and to spearhead the attack I would have Samuel Eto’o, as he is due a goal or two.

Thank me after the victory, Jose.
