Arsenal Planning Moves For Premier League Trio, But Where Would They Fit In?

Arsenal have secured fourth place in the Premier League and with it a spot in the Champions League for next season. They are also in the FA Cup final, where they will play Hull, though a lot of fans still consider this season a failure. The club itself look to be planning their summer transfer business, as the reports say they will splash their budget on a trio of Premier League players.

The first on the list is Micah Richards of Manchester City, and it’s clear where he will fit into the side. Bacary Sagna’s contract situation looks no clearer than it did a couple of months ago and he is a natural right-back, as well as a boyhood Arsenal fan, and would be a strong season. He can also play at centre-back.

The second name is Swansea forward Wilfried Bony, who has scored 25 goals for the Welsh outfit in his debut season. Again, I would be all for this move.

He’s a powerful player who creates his own opportunities, and is just as comfortable when it comes to slotting the ball home. He’s strong in the air, his movement is superb and his goal tally, in a struggling Swansea side, speaks for itself.

I would have him as the main striker and Giroud as the back up.

The final player is Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin. Having been a pivot in the middle of the Hampshire side’s midfield for the last handful of seasons, the Frenchman is an incredibly composed outlet. He has completed almost 90% of his passes this season.

I think he would be brilliant alongside Mathieu Flamini.

All three would be good signings, for me.
