Such has been the meteoric rise in stature of the Liverpool youngster that after having played in both of England’s games during the international break, Sterling has featured in both of Liverpool’s games in the space of a week. Saving the 19 year old from a burnout, Brendan Rodgers will have to tread mighty carefully not to over-play the teenager and risk injury.
