Transfer Blow For Manchester United: Argentinian Target (Tipped As Next Aguero) Hints Arsenal Move

Manchester United and Liverpool have been in the hunt for strikers in the January transfer window for totally different reasons. United who are currently at third position in the Premier League points table wish to maintain the positive momentum and secure a top four spot, if not win the title.  On the other hand, Liverpool have been struggling comparatively and finding themselves at eighth place currently. Brendan Rodgers knows that his side needs a proper front man to the finish the chances if he wishes to qualify for the champions league again.

Both the Premier League giants have been chasing Palermo’s Argentinian striker Paulo Dybala who has been a sensation in Seria A. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the 21 year old who is considered to be the next Aguero. But Arsenal have recently taken the lead in the chase for their target as the player himself as has admitted that he is proud of being linked to the Gunners.

In an interview Dybala was reported as saying,

“One dream I have is playing alongside Lionel Messi. For me, he is the best player ever. I hope to have the chance to play with him at some point. Things are going well, but I cannot relax. I have to keep going and always be focused. All the rumours about my future are the result of my hard work and I have to keep doing things the same way. It’s an incredible feeling to be linked with clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Inter, Barcelona and Arsenal. All players dream of joining a big club and playing with the best. You always try to give your all and reach the top. My goal is to work hard and reach the top.”

This news may be a set-back for Manchester United and Liverpool who looked to add the talented young striker to strengthen their squad.
