The United and Arsenal clash

Battle to avoid mediocrity. The Untied and Arsenal clash.

Saturday’s FA cup match up features two of the premier league’s most followed clubs the world over. Matches between these two rarely end without incident. Viera and Keane have come and gone but the rivalry still remains between these clubs with different approaches to the game. The biggest club from Manchester with an attitude that any means justify the end having had the better of Arsenal in their last meeting at Old Trafford  looking slight favourites to win based on their home form this season. Arsenal’s naïve approach to the game I feel has cost them a lot of silverware because football is more than attacking football at which without a doubt the London club are one of the best. Their attacking football will not matter much if they fail to sort out their apparent defensive frailties. Most fans would have preferred the two teams to meet in the final but we will take a match between these two any time. What we hope for is incident, controversy and entertaining football which both clubs are capable of delivering.

Arsenal are looking to a fit Van persie to head the attack and continue with his blazing goal scoring form .The future of English football Jack Wilshere never disappoints and will want to bounce back from that nightmare in the Nou Camp with a victory against the red devils. This might be the tonic that Arsenal needs to drive them in this final stretch of the season. It looks like the gunners will miss their captain Fabregas but a team challenging for top honours should be able to cope.

Man utd welcome back long term absentee Valencia and their back line might be back to the normal four that we are used to .Rio’s back and I am sure his tweeps will be pleased to see him donning the red of United to partner Vidic at the back. Ryan Giggs should start, in an effort to provide the creative spark that United are running short of with the loss of Nani to injury.

So it is all set up to be a match far from mediocre with both teams wanting positive displays.
