I’ve heard of a wind problem but…
In the wake of the farce that was El Classico number three, and the prospect of installment number four this evening, I figured it would be appropriate to talk about the hard men of the game. Instead, it might have been more appropriate to talk about hard hats than hard men after coming across this clip on YouTube:
In 2007, South African big boys Orlando Pirates faced the Black Leopards in a league game, when a sudden gust of wind took the advertising boards from one end of the pitch to another. A few bonks on the noggin for the linesman and the centre half was enough to bring the game to a halt as lightening soon followed the bizarre wind storm.
I heard of something similar recently at St James’ Park… Tsunami!!! – I’m here all week…
